yup, Monster O has suffered a blow on his head..
He was meddling with the cork board in the study & the whole thing fell on him. Usually it will be ok cos the board itself is very light but today it's disasterous cos the frame behind the board fell as well!
He was wailing his lungs out! Lucky manage to pacify him after a while.. & lucky the 开花 part is in between the forehead & his soft spot..
Haiz, so fast start to have bruises already....

The Fearless One!

Ocean is learning to walk!
While we were playing on the bed, he actually tried to stand up on his own! He did fall back on his butt almost immediately but the little monster seems to find it fun cos he keep trying to do that till his ball caught his attention and then off he goes to his 'ball ball' again.

New words

Eversince Ocean started on solid food like porridge, his care taker - my sister in law has been giving him loads of things to try. So to date this 馋嘴猫 has tried food like potato, carrot, fish, pork, zhui kueh, ice cream etc.
All these while my sister in law is also trying to teach him say "mum mum" to indicate that he wants to eat instead of shouting and today her efforts paid off.
Monster Ocean said "mum mum mum mum" when she is having her dinner and his reward is - a small piece of yummy potato.
Food is indeed a good motivator ; p

Singapore Garden Festival

Today we are going to the Singapore Garden Festival at Suntec. Jimmy's friend, Wai Khong got the tickets and so we are off to enjoy some flower fragrances!
There's 2 parts in this event. On the highest level is all the flower arrangement. That's where flower arrangement artists came together to compete their skills..
The other part is on our national flower - Orchids. The whole hall is filled with different types of orchids!. Alas my camera went flat after the 1st part.. so no orchids to show...

Rayen 表哥's birthday

We went to 小姑's place today to celebrate Rayen 表哥's brithday in advance.

Family Day

Today is my Family Day and we are going to Sentosa! But first got to bring Monster O for his check up at polyclinic. Have already gotten an appointment thus hopefully we don't have to wait long..When we arrive at Hougang Polyclinic, there was a huge q...
Phew.. Lucky we have appointment liao!Well, we took our q & went up to wait for our turn.. Today's wait is 45 minutes cos there'were a lot of babies in front. When it's finally our turn, the nurse took his weight, height & then it's time to test his reflexes. The nurse is extremely pleased with his performance though Mummy J (me) felt that he's on the skinny side... Nurse said that as long as he is growing, it's fine...
Well, after the polyclinic, we went back to let Monster O grab a nap before we head to Sentosa.
By the time we reached, it's already 3 pm... A scorching day and the silly mummy have to forget the cap... Lucky we had the stroller & did our best to cover him….
The program was about the same as the previous Family Days but the main purpose was to bring Monster O for some fun.. We ended up staying the hall most of the time cos it was really hot outside and without the cap, Monster O will become a ‘roast pig’.....
But in the late afternoon, when the sun is setting, we went to the sea side to play with the waves.. He was a little scare at the waves beating at his ankles.. haiz his name is Ocean but scare of the waves?!
